Designing for purpose: ADHD
Designing for people with different accessibility and neurological needs by redesigning an existing service for a those struggling with ADHD.This project required a lot of research and surveys to ADHD students. This allowed us to see what our target audience would like help with while studying. The main points from our results were difficulties in maintaining focus, staying organised, and consistently making spelling and grammar errors.
Problem:
Students with ADHD are more likely to struggle to stay on topic and structure their notes.
Solution:
Jottings helps students with ADHD take notes and structure them by colour coding. The app can transcribe, summarise, play them for you in a personal voice and help you make custom note templates.

The simple and easy app is colour-coded and minimalistic to help ADHD students stay focused. The curved lines and pastel colours such as blue and purple improve calmness. The goal is to reduce stress and anxiety as our research showed the symptoms of ADHD can be overwhelming while studying.
