Creative collaboration with the Nike X Obama Foundation
I was selected to be a part of the Obama Exchange programme alongside Nike, creating a campaign to highlight how basketball has influenced London and Chicago through fashion, music, and street art.Our work was released during Nike's future-forward festival during Black history month 2022.
Brief:
Create a campaign that captures both London and Chicago cultures through the lens of basketball.
You will explore and capture the richness of these diverse cities and translate them into slogans, icons, and expressions that can decorate player jerseys.

Insights:
1. Meaning- Basketball has many different meanings to London and Chicago
2 .Unity- It has the power to bring people together
3. Difference- Even if you're not on the court you still may have a story. Behind-the-scenes to the game
Same Game Different story
The campaign built is to explore the same game and different stories and allow people to participate in that narrative.Though #whats yours giving people a voice.
Icons
Through interviewing people across London and Chicago we came up with different icon designs to capture the different messages.

The Giant Jordan
We want our campaign to work in the digital and real space. We plan on taking over Leake Street in London and the United Centre in Chicago by placing giant white Jordans.
The right foot in London and the left foot In Chicago will allow the audience to state “what’s their story” is. Creating their personalised icons and messages. There icons will be seen joint together on snapchat and filling the Nike website.

Friendly competition
Our in-store activation celebrates everything that happens on the court. We’ve split a basketball court between Nike stores in London and Chicago.
Digital screens, covered in our stickers, share inspiring stories from basketball fans worldwide. And because it’s the same game for everyone, we’re including those who can’t attend with a social filter on Instagram and Snapchat, giving everyone a chance to play.
